About Our Program

The School District of West De Pere participates in the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.  We work hard to serve nutritious, tasty meals for all students in the district, while adhering to the USDA meal regulations.

Student accounts are set up as a debit system, not a credit system.

Meal accounts are set up per student, not per family.  Families are linked together for mailing purposes, but each student account is individual.

NEW Meal Charge Policy

In accordance with the Healthy Hunger Free Kids act and USDA Regulations, the School District of West De Pere has adopted Policy 3542, Meal Charge Policy.

The policy states that any student with a balance greater than -$25.00 may no longer make charges to his/her meal account.  A meal from home or cash must be provided until the debt is paid off, an approved payment plan is in place, or an approved free or reduced meal application is on file.
