2008 Stowe Scholarship Application

A   STUDENT COUNCIL LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

You must be a senior who shows leadership qualities, plan on attending a secondary school, and have a GPA of 3.0 or better.

DEADLINE: May 2, 2008

B    STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBER SCHOLARSHIP

   Any Seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or better, must be an active member of Student Council for two years, and plan to attend a secondary school.

   DEADLINE: May 2, 2008

C   GREEN BAY LODGE INDEPENDENT ORDER OF ODD FELLOWS

   Applicants must have a GPA of 3.2. Other criteria – character, attitude, and community affairs.

   DEADLINE: May 21, 2008

F   ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY

A $500 continual grant for college and a $250 grant for a technical college will be available. This is per semester per year. Grants are based on family income, family size and financial need, not on grades or religious affiliation.

J   U OF MINNESOTA TWIN CITIES

   If you are planning to attend the Twin Cities, the men of the Sigma Chi Fraternity have a $1000 scholarship. Of course, you have to be a man to apply.

   DEADLINE: Pending

U   FREEDOM AWARD

      A $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior. Criteria includes writing a 200-225 word essay of how you had adversary in your life and overcame that by faith. And, a written account of 100-125 words of what your dream is for the future.

X   WISCONSIN TOWNS ASSOCIATION ESSAY SCHOLARSHIP

   The Wisconsin Towns Association will be sponsoring four $1000 scholarships. The Scholarships are awarded on the basis on independent judging of essays on the topic noted in the brochure.

AE   RALPH BAETEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

   You must have a 3.0 GPA or higher, participated in a high school athletic program for at least three years, a shown community involvement through volunteerism.

   DEADLINE: April 30, 2008

AG COCA COLA TWO-YEAR COLLEGE (TECHNICAL COLLEGE) SCHOLARSHIP

   This is a $1000 scholarship based heavily on volunteer service hours.

   DEADLINE: May 5, 2008

HARLEY & DELLA STOWE SCHOLARSHIP

   West De Pere High School has 2008 Harley and Della Stowe Scholarship applications available to any West De Pere graduate that is in college.  Applications can be picked up at the High School or printed off from the High School website. 

     DEADLINE: April 30, 2008

UW PLATTEVILLE COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP
