Jack Alexander

Jack Alexander has been the Marketing Education instructor at West De Pere High School for the last 25 years. He teaches:  business,  marketing, and he is the marketing C0-0P teacher/coordinator.  Mr. Alexander's main focus is on marketing. He uses his mobile home park ownership business and his experience working at Sears & Roebuck and J.C. Penny to help his students better understand marketing and business concepts and applications.
 

The Marketing Education Co-op program has placed more than 300 students in their respective career areas over the years.  Places of employment for the co-op program can be found with Mr. Alexander's help in these exciting occupational areas: advertising, apparel, finance, food marketing, general merchandising, hotels, management, petroleum, restaurant, recreation, and tourism, E commerce, Fashion sports entertainment marketing.
 

One of his favorite ways of enriching students is through participation of DECA, an association of marketing students. Every year DECA holds competitions at a regional, state, and national level. Mr. Alexander has a reputation for always delivering solid performances at the competitions. Since 1984 he has had 53 students who have qualified to compete at the national level. Another one of DECA's activities involve the operation of the school store, the Phantom Mart.

Mr. Alexander has now become our Vocational co-op teacher. This means he has another 25 students he finds jobs for and that he has to go to job sites and talk to employers. Vocational Co-op is for anyone that is a senior that would like to have job experience while still in school in one of the non core areas.

Mr. Alexander also is our behind the wheel Instructor and coordinator for Driver's Ed. So no matter what you do you will see Mr. Alexander.
