Lisa JB Boyd, born and raised in De Pere, graduated from West De Pere High School in 1982 as Lisa Bougie. In high school, she was involved in a variety of activities, including Track, Student Council, Future Teachers of America, FHA, and Cheerleading. In 1986, she graduated from UW-Stout with a degree in Home Economics Education. She then taught for eight years at Wrightstown High School. During six of those years she worked on her Master's Degree at UW-Oshkosh.
In 1994, she took on a new position and a new challenge. Working in the Howard-Suamico School District, she became a counselor at Bay Port High School. Then, after ten years of being a Pirate, she finally came back home. She is happy to report that she is excited to be a Phantom again!
On the personal side, Lisa is happily married to another former educator, McKim Boyd, who owns/operates the Union Hotel in De Pere. They have two children, Annamarie (16 years old) and Mitchell (15 years old). They live in De Pere and Lisa is heavily involved in the De Pere/Green Bay Antiquarian Society. She also belongs to Leadership Green Bay, the De Pere Business Association, and St. Norbert College Parish.
