Education
Mr. Brockman earned his high school diploma from Freedom High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Parkside with a major in General Business and minor in Economics. After graduation, Mr. Brockman worked for The Boldt Company as a Project/Controls Engineer for ten years. After much thought, he decided to follow his passion and return to Concordia College and obtain his teaching certification in Business Education.
Career in Education
Mr. Brockman started teaching business education at the West DePere Middle School in the fall of 2004. He accepted a teaching position at West DePere High School in 2006. Mr. Brockman looks forward to the challenges and rewards of teaching at the high school level.
Family
Mr. Brockman is married to his wife Kendilyn and they have five children; Tanner, Dakota, Calista, Hunter and Tucker. Kendilyn is the Director of Pupil Services in a neighboring school district. The Brockman’s five children are eight years old and younger. They keep Mr. Brockman and his wife very busy.
Hobbies
As you can imagine Mr. Brockman doesn’t have a lot of time for hobbies. He enjoys watching and playing all sports. He enjoys the struggles of golf and coaching his children when he can. Mr. Brockman’s true passion is wrestling. He started wrestling in grade school and continued through college. He has coached at all levels. Currently he is the co-head coach for the West DePere Wrestling team.
