ELLEN CELSKE

Ellen Celske is a native of the Milwaukee Area, Wisconsin. While she was in high school in Brookfield, she spent three weeks studying abroad in Alicante, Spain. Mrs. Celske is a graduate of UW-Stevens Point with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and a minor in Secondary Education and history. During her time in college, she spent nine months studying in Valladolid, Spain, and worked at a camp teaching English to Spanish children. Upon graduation, Mrs. Celske spent three years teaching at Templeton Middle School in Sussex, WI before coming to West De Pere. At Templeton, she led several student study trips to Chicago, Spain, and Mexico.

Mrs. Celske's family consists her husband Carey and their dog Max. Mr. Celske is a biology teacher at Manawa High School. The two were married Christmas '03.

Among Mrs. Celske's personal interests and hobbies are hiking, camping, running, canoing, downhill skiing, snowshoing, mountain biking, and traveling. She even has the impressive goal of trying to canoe every river in Wisconsin. In her down time she enjoys reading and sewing.
