I grew up in Two
Rivers and attended college at UW-Oshkosh and graduated with a Bachelor of
Science degree in K-12 Spanish Education. I then spent 3 years in Honduras
with the Peace Corps as an Adult Literacy Promoter. I returned to teach
middle and high school Spanish in Appleton for 4 years. I have been
teaching Spanish at West De Pere High School since 1996. I now have a
Master of Education in Technology in Education from Lesley University.
Family:
I married my husband Tim in September of 1996. On July 31, 2001, our twins, Eryn and Ryan were born.
When I’m not teaching Spanish or working out at school, I’m with my family. Eryn and Ryan are now in first grade and are having a great experience with it. Eryn is in Brownie Scouts and dance. Ryan is a Tiger Scout and will be starting basketball soon. My husband Tim works at Green Bay Eye Clinic. In our free time we enjoy reading, playing games, hiking, and geocaching.
