Education
Dr. Gerke is a 1983
graduate of one of the best schools around -- West De Pere High. He then
went on to UW-Superior to get his Bachelors Degree in 1989. He finished
his schooling in 1998 graduating with a Masters degree from Marion
College. Dr. Gerke completed his Doctorate at Edgewood College in Madison. Dr. Gerke loved West De Pere so much that he returned to become
the Associate Principal and then Principal.
Family
If you've been to a West
De Pere game, you might have seen his adorable daughter, Kyla, by the
pom and dance team. Dr. Gerke married 1984 West De Pere graduate Alisa. They
have 3 children: their 13 year-old daughter Kyla, their 10 year-old son Brock, and their
youngest son Rece who is 4 years old.
Hobbies
Dr. Gerke enjoys all of
the West De Pere High School activities. Aside from being busy with his family
and returning to school, he enjoys many other activities outside of school.
During the summer, he enjoys golfing, boating, waterskiing, and fishing for muskies. During the winter,
he likes to pheasant hunt at the Fox Ridge Game Farm. He caught this 52.25 inch muskie in Canada this past summer.
