Sean Gibbons grew up in De Pere and graduated West De Pere High School in 1986. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for his under-graduate degree and then Lesley University for his Masters Degree in "Computers & Technology in Education."
For six years he taught 7th and 8th grade mathematics at Maple Dale Middle School in Fox Point, WI, a North Shore suburb of Milwaukee and then was fortunate to land a job here at his alma mater, West De Pere High School, in 1998. He teaches Geometry, Advanced Algebra & Trigonometry, and Pre-Algebra and was the head varsity baseball coach of West De Pere for eight years. Last year he decided to step down and be the assistant varsity baseball coach which is what he is currently doing.
Mr. Gibbons married Elizabeth Utrie in 2000 and they now have four children: Olivia (7), Jack (5) and Amelia (3), and Baby Joseph who will be 1 in May..
