STEVE KESTLY

Mr. Kestly grew up in Pulaski, Wisconsin, and also attended high school there.  He took his undergraduate work  at  UW-Stevens Point, then transferred to  UW-La Crosse, where he  received his masters in teaching.  As life progressed, Mr. Kestly married Betty, a kindergarten teacher at Pulaski and are raising two adorable kids: Hannah, 6; and Chaz, 4.

Mr. Kestly is West's phy-ed teacher and boys varsity basketball coach.  Since Mr. Kestly likes working with kids and athletics , he was glad he would be able to teach strictly phy-ed.  Not only does Mr. Kestly like athletics he is also athletic himself.  On his free time, Mr. Kestly enjoys running and biking; both are a part of his weekly routine.  Other things  he  enjoys doing on his free time includes attending sporting events and spending quality time with his kids.

The boys varsity basketball team according to Coach Kestly is going well.  The guys are adapting to their coach and are learning many new techniques.  Coach Kestly's team goal is for the team to play the game the best to their ability, to play competitively and of course have fun!
