TASK  1

REAL-WORLD PARABOLAS

Searching the internet, find at least 10 different photographs of parabolas found out in the real world.  Include at least 5 "natural" parabolas (like the rainbow above) and at least 5 man-made ones.  Each parabola must be a different type (for example, you can only use one picture of a rainbow -- and it can't be mine from above!).  Print the photos and their addresses (they do not have to be in color).

Try to come up with your own ideas.  But if you need a head start or if you're stuck, you can go here to get some ideas.  Obviously, you cannot use my exact photos.
