You are to write a story, in first person, where you are parabola. Perhaps explain your life story. Be as creative and clever as you can. Ideas? Talk about your "family" Make up some interesting events that happened to you as you were growing up. Perhaps write about your job, your hobbies, etc. Be sure to include key words and concepts we learned about parabolas and graphing them. The paper needs to be typed and "easily readable" – font not too small or too big, etc. Keep grammatical and spelling errors to a minimum, so as not to distract the reader. The length of the paper is up to you. Anywhere from one to three pages will be about right. Things I will be looking for in your paper: -Computer generated with pictures -Accurate mathematical terms and concepts (Lots of them - and highlight them somehow - make them stand out!) -Creativity/Cleverness/Uniqueness -Quality -Effort Have Fun! |
