Mrs. Nicole Verbeten

Mrs. Verbeten with her husband, Josh, and their son, Riley.

Mrs. Verbeten started teaching social studies at West De Pere High School in 2002. She teaches Global History I, Global History II, Contemporary Social Problems, and Physical Geography. She really enjoys teaching at West De Pere. “The kids and staff are fun to work with and it’s great to be able to help out, both in the classroom and out,” says Mrs. Verbeten.

Mrs. Verbeten grew up on a dairy farm in Wrightstown and graduated from Wrightstown High School. In high school she was involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, and many other extra curricular activities. Following high school, she went to UW-Green Bay where she graduated with a degree in History and Broadfield Social Studies.

Mrs. Verbeten’s family consists of her mom Carol, her dad Jeff, older sister Corrie, and younger siblings Kyle, Rochelle, and Mason. Mrs. Verbeten has been married for 2 1/2 years to her husband Josh. In June 2003 their family grew when Riley was born. Josh also has four sisters and two brothers, so their large families keep them extremely busy.

When Mrs. Verbeten isn’t grading papers or chasing Riley, she enjoys running, reading, scrap booking, playing the piano, and visiting her sister in Minnesota. She also enjoys following her younger brother and sister’s sporting events.
