The purpose of Art Club is to enhance the school with student art works.
We have an exhibition called “Open Canvas Exhibition” located in the art hall near room D146. This concept is much like an open mic exhibition where WDP art club & art students can create a painting and exhibit it for a week in the hallway. Then a different person paints over the painting or can add to it to create a new one. This is a fun way to practice making and exhibiting art.
Also, the art club is also starting a mural project around school , so look for the their work to appear throughout the building.
The club raises money by making and selling pins, buttons, and art related products.
Art Club meets about once a month for a full club meeting, but also gets together to work on club projects.
