Wisconsin Towns Association Scholarship State 5/24/2024 Varies
Requirements:

Your thoughts – combined with your writing skills and creativity – can put you in line to receive one of seven scholarships. Rural Mutual Insurance Company, Wisconsin Towns Association, and Scott Construction, Inc. are again offering the following scholarships to winners of an essay contest. Scholarships will be awarded on the following basis:

Two (2) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to the students with the highest-ranking essay score from a town or village insured by Rural Mutual Insurance Company as of May 1, 2024.
Five (5) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to the top five additional students with the highest ranking essay scores.

All applicants must graduate from a Wisconsin public or private high school in 2024 and plan to attend a Wisconsin public or private college or university in 2024. Essays will be judged independently on originality and subject matter in relation to the topic. The essays must also contain correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Judging will be completed by August 9, 2024. Recipients will be announced by August 23, 2024. Proof of enrollment in a Wisconsin public or private college is required to receive a scholarship.

Integrated Community Solutions State 5/31/2024 $2,000
Requirements:

Integrated Community Solutions is delighted to share with our fellow community-based organizations and educational institutions that we are offering up to a $2,000 scholarship for the Fall 2024 semester, sponsored by Pep’s Pizza Company.

Applications are due May 31, 2024, and the winner will be notified by June 14, 2024.

To be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Applicant must be attending a public or private educational institution in Wisconsin for the Fall 2024 semester, pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Applicant must be receiving some type of government subsidized assistance.
    • Examples Include: Housing Assistance (e.g., Brown County Housing Authority’s Housing Choice Voucher Program), Food Share, Badger Care, Energy Assistance, Medicaid, WI Shares Childcare Subsidy, etc.)

Prevention Magazine Scholarship State 5/31/2024 $500
Requirements:

Abuse as we all know has no boundaries. Abuse can be
drugs/alcohol, mental, or physical abuse, how dealt with, what you learned from it, and what was right or wrong (in your own opinion) and the way the incident or problem was handled.
To qualify to win a $500 Scholarship - All you have to do is write an essay (600- 800) words, double spaced, about a personal encounter you or someone you know has had with abuse.

  1. You must currently be a high school senior
  2. Your school must be in: Iowa, Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin
  3. You must have a 2.5 GPA or higher
  4. You must have plans to attend college or plans for a training program, JATC, Military, etc.

American College Foundation (“ACF”) Visionary Scholarship Program National 6/1/2024 Varies
Requirements:

All applications for the American College Foundation (“ACF”) Visionary Scholarship Program will consist of: 1) a completed ACF Visionary Scholarship Application, 2) a copy of the student’s most recent unofficial high school transcript, 3) a 500 word, typed, double-spaced essay. All components of the application must be received for a student to be eligible for an award. Applications are judged on the ability to follow guidelines (25%), grammar and punctuation (25%), and the merit of the written essay (50%). Applicants must be United States Citizens or Eligible Non-Citizens and may be asked to participate in a qualification interview as part of the application process to assist the ACF in ultimately determining the winners. Awards range from $1,000 - $2,500 each; with multiple winners to be selected. Each award is a non-renewable, one-time award and is to be used exclusively to offset costs and fees related directly to the student’s first year of higher post-secondary education at an accredited institution of the student’s choosing within the United States.

Divergent Family Law Scholarship National 6/30/2024 $500
Requirements:

Divergent Family Law is now accepting scholarship applications. The funds will go towards post-secondary education costs. Higher education can be a costly endeavor and our goal is to help a student attend the school of their choosing and pursue their dream.

The scholarship is open to high school seniors planning on attending college and students currently enrolled at a university or trade school.

Scholarship Payment

The Grieve Law scholarship is paid to the school of the selected recipient. It will be paid in a one-time, non-renewable amount of $500 U.S. dollars.

Each scholarship is awarded annually in June. The scholarship payout will occur in August of the same year.

Requirements

  1. Be accepted at an accredited college, university, or trade school within the United States at the time of application.
  2. Be a US citizen, national, or permanent resident.
  3. Be a high school senior or active college student.
  4. Have a minimum GPA 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
