Reasons to take advantage of free meals

1. They are a fast, convenient, cost effective and nutritious option for our students.

2. The meals help to support farmers and other businesses.

3. Utilizing free meals helps to support West De Pere's food service department.

On August 31, 2020, the USDA announced that school breakfast and lunch will be free to all children 18 and under through December 31st, 2020, or until the USDA runs out of funds.  This means that all children 18 and under can get free breakfast and lunch daily, following the school calendar, whether they are enrolled in our district or not.

Free Breakfast and Lunch only include the reimbursable meals and don't include any A La Carte items.

If your child is attending in-person schooling, they are eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch daily. These meals are also free until June 30th, 2020, or until the USDA funding runs out. If your child is learning virtually or attending remotely, we encourage you to order meals online by clicking on the Virtual Learning Breakfast/Lunch Order on the left.
