Additional Summer School Information
Kindergarten Camp
- Registration: Closed (will open in May)
- Dates and Times: Tuesday, August 19 – Thursday, August 21, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Locations: Hemlock Creek and Westwood Elementary Schools (based on your student’s assigned school for the 2025–26 academic year)
Attendance
If your child will be absent, please call (920) 425-1900 x3100 and leave a message with the following details:
- Your child’s name
- The name of the class(es) they will miss
- The location of the class(es)
Regular attendance is expected.
Band
Summer band schedules for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades will be provided by your child’s band teacher. For questions about summer band camps, please contact your school’s band teacher directly.
Dress Code
Students should wear appropriate, casual summer attire. The following guidelines apply:
- Swimwear and short shorts are not allowed.
- Hats or hoods may not be worn inside any district building.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances:
- A class is canceled by the Summer School Director.
- A family or medical emergency occurs.
Important Notes:
- Classes may be canceled if enrollment is insufficient. If this happens, alternative classes may be offered.
- No refunds will be issued if a student drops a class after the session begins.
- For Driver's Ed, BTW fees are non-refundable after May 1, 2025.
- If a refund is issued for a class change, the convenience fee will not be refunded.
Schedules and Confirmations
Your online registration serves as your confirmation. Please print a copy of the confirmation for your child’s first day of Summer School.
Schedule Changes:
- No changes to student schedules will be made after the first two days of Summer School.
Student Conduct
Students are expected to adhere to the same rules and behavioral standards that apply during the regular school year. Parents will be contacted if any conduct issues arise.
Summer School Office

Transportation
Parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from Summer School.
- Students must be dropped off at their starting school and picked up at their finishing school.
Shuttle Service:
- A shuttle will operate between the High School, Westwood, and Hemlock Creek from 9:40 a.m. to 10:05 a.m.
- Students attending classes at the Middle School may walk to Westwood to catch the shuttle to Hemlock Creek or the High School.
